LOCATION, TIMES AND MORE…
BOLD XXL
After careful consideration, we have made the decision to cancel the upcoming January edition. The reason for this is actually quite simple. Due to the great success of the last BOLD XXL edition in September, many of our participants (together with us) want to go even further next year in September to create an even bigger optical spectacle. This has led to several suppliers indicating that they have no or less budget available for the upcoming spring edition.
Despite the fact that we are already 60% fully booked, this lacks the necessary support from the industry to be able to organize BOLD in the spring at a level we have been working towards for 8 years. We want to hold on to our high quality standards and values that suppliers and visitors have come to expect from us. We do it well or we don’t.
Our intention was already to eventually go to one big industry-wide optical event, 1 x a year. With this decision, we are accelerating the process. That is why we now prefer to spend our time and energy on thorough preparation for the largest fair ever organized in the Netherlands: BOLD XXL Edition 2024. This promises to be a great optical spectacle for all Dutch, Belgian and German opticians.
The new location for BOLD XXL on 8+9 September will be ‘De Brabanthallen’ in Den Bosch. This new location is larger, with more than enough parking right next door for both suppliers and visitors. Also in terms of temperature in September, this location will be a relief!
