Founded in 2012 in Paris, PETER ANDMAY is the duo of born and bred Parisians Laura Le Bihan and Xavier Matrand after their journey together in high-end eyewear retail. The two designers were inspired to embark on their own journey, taking all the tips and tools from their years of customer knowledge and learning for themselves what went on behind the scenes of the manufacturing process.

In 2013, the duo presented their first collection. In 2014, one of their creations was worn by Scarlett Johansson in LucBesson’s film LUCY and their collection was presented at Colette. PETER ANDMAY is launched: a name that unites their flair, experience and shared passion, which they summarize as “PETER AND MAYis the name of our complementarity”. This complementarity has contributed to the DNA of their collection of well-made, comfortable everyday glasses, with a foot in fashion. They create their collections together: Laura is responsible for communication, global development and production, while Xavier oversees the drawing, collection plans and their coherence, as well as the technical nature of the designs.
