Because there are a lot of possibilities on Bold, the amount of information can sometimes be overwhelming. We will do our best to make everything as simple and clear as possible. If you still have questions, please let us know. Send us an email and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

STEP 1: STAND TYPE

View the floor plan and choose your stand type:
Pink stands are reserved for starting brands and optics-related companies. Blue or green for a standard stand (without furniture), Purple is the Luxury Lounge for the higher segment brands (completely unburdened), yellow is for Space Only where you build your own stand.

You can provide three preferred locations, but BOLD can adjust the final layout if necessary. Therefore, keep an eye on the floor plan regularly for any changes.

STEP 2: SIGN UP

Go through the registration page, login or create an account and fill in the form. After sending you will automatically receive a copy of your registration by e-mail. We will process this as soon as possible and then send you a confirmation of participation and a deposit invoice.

Please note! As soon as the deposit has been paid, your participation is final.

STEP 3: ONLINE SHOP

After registration you will receive a link to the online shop from us. Here you can arrange and customize a lot extra. Think of: different color carpet tiles, furniture, visuals, stand cleaning, electricity. This is all very simple and self-explanatory. Just don’t forget to finalize your shopping cart. Otherwise we will not receive the order and it will not be arranged,

START-UP

This stand is especially for ‘Starting eyewear brands’, which have been around for a maximum of 3 years and could use a little luck. Or smaller optician-related companies such as: software, administration, advice.

Measurement: The stands are 6m2. This can be 3 meters wide x 2 meters deep or vice versa.
This depends on the location of your booth.

What’s included:
• Back of black pleated blind of three meters (sometimes 4 meters) high. • Two LED lights. • Anthracite floor tiles. • Four white high chairs. • One white high table (80 cm wide x 180 cm long x 111 cm high). • One white low table (82 cm wide x 80 cm long x 73.5 cm high). • Including one poster 100×200 cm (you can keep this after the fair). • By brand: Free brands page on the Bold Website.

Please note: It is not possible to change the layout and/or the furniture of the stand. If you don’t want furniture, please let us know in time. The price of the stand remains the same.

NOT INCLUDED

• These stands do not have side walls. • Electricity, this can be added in the webshop. • Lunchbox: this can be added optionally in the webshop. It is allowed to bring your own lunch (for your own consumption). • Own catering at your stand is possible, but a buyout is used for this, see the Brabanthallen section for more information. • Media Package: this choice is made during registration. • Parking ticket, to be ordered at the Brabanthallen, see heading parking.

There is a maximum of two trademarks per stand and a maximum of one stand per registration. This stand can be rented a maximum of two times consecutively.

START-UP STANDS

Only a limited number of the start-up stands are available. They are indicated in a pink color on the map. You can find more information below. Price is 1595,-

4×3 / 5×4 METER STANDS

A large number of stands are available here. They are indicated in a blue (4×3 meters) or green (5×4 meters) color on the map. You can find more information below. Price is 2595,- and 3295,-

Please note: We build the complete base of your stand (including lighting). You can even bring furniture with you or rent the furniture via our Online Shop.

STANDS

These stands are especially for exhibitors who want to be completely unburdened. We build the complete basis of your stand and you can even rent the furniture through our online shop.

This way you can fully focus on a successful trade fair participation and all you have to do is take your collection with you.

INCLUDED

Measurement:
4 x 3 meters: 4 meters wide x 3 meters deep (blue).
5 x 4 meters: 5 meters wide x 4 meters deep (green).

What’s included:
• Back of black pleated blind of four meters high. • Only the head stands have no side walls, between the stands have a partition wall of black spagetti cord curtain, please note: it is not allowed to close the side walls. • Includes two LED lamps (+ electricity for the lighting, not for your own use).
• Anthracite floor tiles, a different color is possible (+7 per m2). • And one poster 100×200 cm (you can keep this after the fair). Extra poster can be booked during registration or via the webshop (+100,-). • By brand: Free brands page on the Bold Website.

Only in consultation with the organization is it allowed to hang extra posters yourself (bring your own mounting material and a high ladder).

NOT INCLUDED

• Electricity, this can be added in the webshop. • Furniture: these can be optionally added in the webshop. It is also allowed to bring your own furniture. • Lunchbox: this can be added optionally in the webshop. It is allowed to bring your own lunch (for your own consumption). • Own catering at your stand is possible, but a buyout is used for this, see the Brabanthallen section for more information. • Media Package: this choice is made during registration. • Parking ticket, to be ordered at the Brabanthallen, see heading parking.

There is a maximum of five brands per stand and a maximum of three stands per exhibitor.

Of course, you can put together your own furniture combinations. A standard furniture set can be rented for 415,-.

LUXURY LOUNGE

These stands are especially for the high segment of frames with a purchase from 150 euros and higher. These stands include a luxury furniture set.

Colors of the chairs may differ from the example above.

INCLUDED

Measurement: This stand is 5 meters wide x 4 meters deep.

What’s included:
• Back of White pleated blind of four meters high. • The head stands have no side walls, between the stands are separated with a white spagetti cord curtain, please note: it is not allowed to close the side walls. • Includes two LED lamps, up-lighters from the ground onto the white curtains. • Anthracite floor tiles. • And one poster 100×200 cm (you can keep this after the fair). Extra poster can be booked during registration or via the webshop (+100,-). • By brand: Free brands page on the Bold Website.

Only in consultation with the organization is it allowed to hang extra posters yourself (bring your own mounting material and a high charger).

SPACE ONLY

With this option, you literally rent the ‘bare floor’. Stand construction is not included. We can take care of the stand construction for you if you would like to. Send an email to Guusje van de Sterren (support@bold-opricalfair.nl) and we will be happy to think along with you. Price is 117 per m2.

SPACE ONLY

You can work with your own stand builder, or we can help you with stand construction. We can be the link that unburdens and arranges everything. Stands that are built via Bold are set up earlier and are therefore ready to receive you earlier for the finishing touch.

Let us know as extensively as possible what your wishes are and what your budget is, and we will provide you with a competitive quote from our stand builder.

DIMENSIONS

Check the map to see what is still available. Sometimes it is possible to combine two stands into one large stand. We are happy to look with you. Space Only is possible from 20m2.

Included in SPACE ONLY participation:

Three weeks before the fair, Bold Magazine will be sent free of charge to all independent opticians in the Netherlands.

‘NEW BRAND’?

Each participating brand gets its own page on the Bold website. If there is already a page from the previous edition, it will be automatically replaced. It is possible to make changes (in text or images) once free of charge.

New brand:
Deliver the material as soon as possible via the Exhibitor Dashboard. So if you want your brand to be promoted, deliver it as quickly as possible and complete! Please note: it is your own responsibility to provide this in time.

The sooner you submit the material, the sooner your page will be added to the online participant overview.

Does the page stick? Check that the material is no larger than 5 MB and that it is a jpg file. If it still doesn’t work after that. Then send your image to us by email.

You can change or renew the supplied material at a later stage, but there are additional costs involved. Ask the organization about the possibilities.

Note: A maximum of one correction round per brand is included for the online page. Additional corrections will be charged. We have too many brand pages to constantly make corrections. This way we can continue to offer the basic pages free of charge.

BOLD ONLINE SHOP

After your official registration and confirmation of your participation, you will receive an email from us (around March 24, 2025) with a link to your own Bold Online Shop environment. Activate your account by clicking on the link and creating a password. Unfortunately, we can only invite one person per account to the Online Shop. If you want a colleague to be able to get in too, share your login details.

In the online shop you will find various extra options. None of the options are mandatory but are very useful and can make your participation in the exhibition a lot easier.

In the Online Shop you will find, among other things:
Furniture, plants, electricity, internet, visuals & TV options, stand cleaning and waste disposal options.

The Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch are the vibrant heart of the Dutch optical industry. Also for this edition of Bold Light we have chosen this central and easily accessible location with excellent facilities.

just a 15-minute walk from the station
‘s-Hertogenbosch (Central).
Lines 158, 165, 300, 306, 90 stop closed.

CAR

The Brabanthallen are easily accessible, located directly on the A2, A59 and A65.
The location is only a 30 to 40 minute drive from Eindhoven Airport and the Belgian border.

AIRPORT

Eindhoven Airport (IATA: EIN, ICAO: EHEH) is an international airport and the second largest in the Netherlands. The airport is only 30 minutes from the Brabanthallen.

You need a ticket to access BOLD XXL.
Order your exhibitor ticket below, this will give you access before the fair opens to visitors.

Exhibitor parking

Via this link (https://parkeren.brabanthallen.nl/) you can buy parking tickets for 1 day or both days of the fair. They are day tickets so you can drive in and out several times on the same day with the same card (if necessary).

Parking is free on the construction and dismantling days before and after the fair.

Because we have different types of stands, we also have different set-up times.
So take a good look at what stand type you have.

Structure of standard stands:
Saturday 6 September: 18.00 – 19.30 hrs.
Exhibitor access via side entrance hall 1. Building the stand earlier is not allowed, access will be denied.

Sunday 7 September: 07.30 – 09.30 hrs.
Admission for exhibitors from 7.30 am.

Monday 8 September: 08.00 – 09.30 hrs.
Admission for exhibitors from 08.00 hrs.

Opening hours visitors:
Sunday 7 September: 09.30 – 18.00 (+ possible afterparty).

If you have a Space Only stand, the following set-up times apply, unless otherwise discussed with the organization:

Structure of Space Only Stands:
Ask Guusje in advance which loading door you can use for loading and unloading.

Friday 5 September: 08.00 – 20.00 hrs.
Saturday 6 September: 08.00 – 20.00 hrs.
Sunday 7 September: 07.30 – 09.30 hrs.
Admission for exhibitors from 7.30 am.
Monday 8 September: 08.00 – 09.30 hrs.
Admission for exhibitors from 08.00 hrs.

Opening hours Fair:
Sunday 7 September: 09.30 – 18.00 (+ possible afterparty).
Monday 8 September: 09.30 – 18.00 hrs.

Reduction:
Monday 8 September: 18.00 – 21.00 hrs.
Tuesday 9 September: 08.30 – 16.00 hrs.

What about security and suitcase storage?

Security:
There are guards present on Saturday night and Sunday night with dogs. Of course, we would like to emphasize that we are not responsible for theft and/or loss.

Suitcase storage:

Saturday:
It is possible to store all the suitcases with collections on Saturday. (More information about the location of the storage space will follow at a later stage). Exhibitors are allowed to place the suitcases themselves. And then get a ticket on the suitcases and a ticket with the same number. On Sunday morning, the exhibitors can pick up their suitcases again from 08.30 at the hostesses.

Sunday:
This service is available on Sundays from 17:30 to 18:30. After that only in consultation. On Monday morning, the exhibitors can pick up their suitcases again from 08.30 at the hostesses.

Music during the fair

From BOLD there is always a DJ present who plays music from 13.00 until the end of the fair.

Own music in the stand is allowed, provided the sound level does not exceed 70 decibels and the speakers are directed inwards, so that the sound is limited to your own stand. It is important that surrounding stands are not bothered by the music. If these rules are not complied with, Bold reserves the right to confiscate the sound system.
