VANNI was founded in Turin in 1990 by Giovanni Vitaloni, called 'Vanni' by his friends. Due to his network and years of experience in optics, he has been president of MIDO and ANFAO since 2017. His greatest passions are his own eyewear brand and Italy. These two come together in VANNI. The brand is characterized by combining original design with color. The frames and sunglasses are lovingly designed and made in Italy by craftsmen whose skills and knowledge have been passed down for generations. They combine their craftsmanship with innovative production techniques. The beauty of the brand is a blend of genius and culture. Every detail has been thought through, it is a reflection of more than 30 years of experimentation turned into experience. VANNI is now successfully distributed in more than 40 countries.
Acetate
The collection features models made of acetate, metal and combinations of these. The acetate used for the frames was designed by VANNI itself and then made exclusively for the brand. Every year new acetate sheets are introduced in a variety of colors, with the most beautiful patterns. There is the creative Pixel acetate, the chic Dama and Blade acetate, but also the cool Flash acetate. Partly because of this, the brand always has a distinctive look that is innovative. The frames have riveted fusion hinges and beautiful milling techniques, which emphasize the craftsmanship of the collection. They give the frames a luxurious look.
Metal
Vanni has been making metal glasses for many years, which also have a 'VANNI Touch'. The brand has focused on a number of successful series. There is 'Tandem', a successful series in which creatively designed models are available in fresh 2-tone color combinations. There is also 'High Line', a beautiful series in which the front piece has a stylish faceted edge at the top and beautiful engravings at the bottom. The temple tips of these frames are made of exclusive acetate, which matches the color of the metal. The series is available in stylish gold and silver combinations, but also in beautiful, powerful bright colors such as purple, green and blue.
Men
The Uomo line is especially for men who want something different. There are models that have unique 3D laser engravings on the front part, with a wood grain pattern or very sleek lines. This gives them a casual or business look. The Uomo line includes various models in large sizes.
VANNI Petite
The VANNI collection also features a range of frames for consumers with narrow faces, called VANNI Petite. This line features colorful frames made of both acetate and metal.
