Since 2021, Seiko has been active on the market again with a fresh look and new impetus. It will come as no surprise to anyone that the portfolio consists of glasses of absolute top quality. As the inventors of backside surfacing, the first double aspherical glass, and the thinnest double aspherical glass, you know that Seiko is in the right place. From multifocal to single vision, screen to special sports/curve lenses, Seiko has the perfect solution for good vision and a comfortable feeling for every situation.
Apart from the techniques and innovations in the lenses, there are two more aspects within the Seiko portfolio that we would like to highlight. One of these is the Seiko Road Clear Coat (RCC), or as the stores that work with it call it: the gold anti-reflective coating. Aesthetically, this light gold-colored reflex is a feast for the eyes. It provides a luxurious look & feel, and the contrast-enhancing effect also makes it very pleasant to watch. And in terms of hardness, this coating is one of the hardest on the market.
Another aspect we would like to highlight is the Seiko Sun portfolio. With more than 225 colors in the range, Seiko has a huge range. And not just the well-known brown-green-gray variants. With pastel colors such as Sorbet Orange, Citrus Yellow and Ice Blue, Seiko has a number of soft shades with which you can give the glasses that little bit extra. And it doesn't stop there. How about colors such as Mint Green, Clear Pink or Greyish Blue, which are available in different unitint and degrade variations. These colors fit perfectly with the current (eyewear) fashion trend, in which a unit tint of 30% or a degrade has been more regular than the exception for quite some time.
Well-known athletes, artists and influencers are increasingly seen with a tint in their glasses, so logically the demand for these colors, and therefore sales in stores, will only increase. And as icing on the cake, the aforementioned RCC is also available on the sun glasses. Do we need to say more?
