Carven, founded in 1945 by Carmen de Tommaso, is a globally known high-end fashion brand. Madame Carmen - because she was only 1,55 meters tall - was told by her mother that she could never be elegant. That was the reason to start her own haute couture line for smaller ladies.
A big success. In 2016, the Carven fashion house is a highly valued household name with its own clothing, bags and perfume line. And from 2016 also with a modern-chic eyewear label: Carven Eyewear. In 2019 this was expanded with a men's line.
