Jisco is an independent eyewear brand, founded in 2013 by Joerdis Neubauer and Francisco Marín, a Mallorcan and a German with long professional experience in the optical sector and a common great passion: the Mediterranean landscapes and lifestyle.
The MEDITERRANEAN and contemporary character is reflected in each of the collections. A clear example of this are the original color combinations, exclusive designs created by and for Jisco, which provide each pair of glasses with a wealth of shades and tones that become visible when light reflects on them. Within the creative process we design even the smallest and most precious details, such as OUR OWN HINGES, a clear reflection of our obsession for LIGHTNESS, understood as the best guarantee of COMFORT and adaptability.
We closely monitor all stages of the production process to ensure that every piece meets our quality standards. And thanks to the manual polishing and finishing process, the final step before marketing, each of our models is imperfectly beautiful and unique. We believe it is our responsibility to design and manufacture products in a conscious way that is good for our community and the planet.
That's why our commitment to protecting the environment has led us to favor the most SUSTAINABLE, recyclable and 100% biodegradable raw materials when choosing materials. Such as bio-acetate of natural origin, present in most of the new designs, or Trogamid myCX Eco, a material composed of 40% biomass and produced with 100% renewable energy. And all this without giving up the COLOR that characterizes us.
We also use compostable, easily recyclable and biodegradable plastic, as well as recycled and recyclable materials where possible, in all packaging and marketing elements that accompany the commercialization of our collection until it reaches the optician.
