With more than 35 years of experience in the eyewear industry, it is natural for us to guarantee superior quality. Our glasses are lovingly handmade in Sabae, a city in Fukui Prefecture known for its long tradition in the eyewear industry and home to many well-known eyewear manufacturers and artisans. At Barcelunettes, we rely on the expertise and know-how of trusted artisans to create our premium eyewear, and we emphasize product quality and precision. We combine traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology to produce eyewear of the highest caliber, characterized by careful hand finishing and the use of top materials, such as M49 bio-based acetate and titanium and surgical steel, all 18CT gold or platinum plated.

The limited VAGUES collection is distinguished by a unique design that has never been seen before. The entire inner surface of the glasses is decorated with a delicate wave-like prism pattern that reflects and refracts light. On the front of the glasses and on the outside of the temples are large-scale polished multi-prisms that refract the vibrant wave patterns on the inside. As the wearer's head moves naturally, the perspective on the glasses continually changes, creating an intriguing, dynamic wave pattern reminiscent of the surface of the Mediterranean Sea, which gently undulates and captures the graceful and subtle movement of the water's surface as it responds to the touch of a breeze. Each frame has a unique life of its own.
The glasses from the VAGUES collection are strictly limited and numbered consecutively. The respective numbers (total quantity and individual limited series piece) are listed on the included certificate of authenticity with the embossed holographic center seal.
Depending on the color variation, this number may vary. Once a model in a particular color variation is sold out, no new examples of that color will be produced, ensuring the value of the collectible.
